Hi, I’m Martin
I grew up in homes like the ones I restore now - old weatherboards,
paper-thin windows, and rooms so cold that getting out of bed was a chore.
For years, like everyone else, I built to the National Construction Code. I was taught to meet the minimum benchmark, and I built to it faithfully for over a decade.
Then I learned there is more to this story, especially when it comes to existing homes. A home is a system and needs to be treated as such.
Right then began a four-year education journey on how we can provide families with healthy, comfortable, energy-efficient and durable homes.
Now, we take a considered, data-driven approach to heritage restoration, deep energy retrofits, and high-performance renovations across Newtown, Geelong West, East Geelong, and the wider Geelong region - work that respects a home's history and story while making genuine improvements to a family’s experience in the home.
